Gamble Poker

Jennifer Harman has been playing poker since she was eight years old at her father’s games in their home.

Jennifer Harman has been playing poker since she was eight years old at her father’s games in their home. She states that when he was losing, he would have her play in his place and she would actually win his money back.

Harman is petite at 5’2” tall weighing around 100 pounds. She is in her early twenties and looks younger than her age which causes her opponents to underestimate her poker playing skills and try to bluff her. Her youthful appearance is an advantage as she is then able to surprise them with her experience and ability.

Jennifer has been a professional in the world of poker for over ten years. When she first started to play, she went broke because she played in games that were too large for her bankroll. However, she was able to learn from her mistakes, borrowed some money from a friend and was able to get back in the game.

Harman was unable to play in the 2004 World Series of Poker due to kidney disease. She was fortunate to have a niece who was willing to donate one of her kidney’s to her and she is now in good health. Jennifer appreciates this gift and would like to make the public aware of the option of being an organ donor by holding a charity event, the Jen Harmon Challenge, to donate money for public education in this area.

She is a member of the team on the FullTilt.com website which consists of:

• Howard Lederer
• Phil Ivey
• Chris Ferguson
• John Juanda
• Phil Gordon
• Erick Lindgren
• Erik Seidel
• Clonie Gowan
• Andy Bloch
• Mike Matusow

The website forum “Ask the Pros” is a popular spot for players to ask for help from these poker legends. Jennifer has also written the Limit Hold’em chapter in Doyle Brunson’s book “Super System 2”.

Jennifer Harman holds two World Series of Poker bracelets in open events and is considered to be one of the world’s best cash game players. She finished in third place in the $2,000 7-Card Stud Hi/Lo 8 or Better Tournament with her prize money $53,000. In 2000, she played and won the Deuce to Seven Draw Event even though it was her first experience playing that event and in 2002, she won the Limited Hold’em Event. “Card Player” magazine lists her total winnings at $1,428,254 in 34 tournaments.

She has made a number of media appearances at:

• ESPN
• ABC Primetime
• Ellen Degeneres
• Discovery Channel
• Travel Channel
• MPR Radio
• and others

According to “Sports Illustrated”, Jennifer is “the most feared poker player in the world”.

Harman lives in Las Vegas with her husband Marco Traniello and their five dogs. She has a delightful photo gallery on her website www.jenniferharman.com showing pictures of her family and friends as well as photos of her in action at the poker tables.
